Frequently Asked Questions
A mix of common questions by employers and job searchers.
Why can I only apply to one job a day?
We provide job seekers with great search tools to find their ideal jobs and you can save as many as you like to your personal list. We limit job applications to one per user per day to encourage you to be thoughtful about the jobs you apply for. This also means that employers know that the applications they get are worth carefuly reviewing, instead of having to rush through thousands of unqualified CVs, giving you a better chance to stand out.
Why are there jobs that I can't apply for?
Some jobs may have application requirements which rule you out, such as living in a certain country or having specific experience which is not on your CV. To help ensure that employers only get appropriate applications, we prevent people from applying to jobs they'd be instantly rejected for anyway. This also benefits you, as it means that when you do apply for a job, you will stand out more in a group of qualified candidates, rather than getting lost in a crowd of unqualified applications.
Can my current employer find me?
Your CV can only be viewed anonymously (i.e. with all your personal details removed) until you authorise the company to see your personal details. However, if you're worried that they'll still find you, you can add company names and email domains which you want to ensure can't see your profile.
Why can't I just sign up?
We're carefully controlling the number of users on the system right now to ensure everyone gets a good experience while we tune our algorithms. Meanwhile, send us your email address at the bottom of the page and we'll try to get you added as soon as possible!
This is great! When will I be allowed to join?
Send us your email address at the bottom of the page - we'll add you to the waiting list and will be in touch to confirm your account membership soon! We hope to have the system ready for everyone soon!
How much does it cost?
The basic service is free! We may eventually charge for certain features, such as applying to more than one job per day, or having your CV spruced up, but the basic service will always be free for both job seekers and employers.
